What this site collects, and what it does not.

In short
joycastle.mobi is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it — by submitting the contact form or emailing us.
What we collect
Contact form. When you submit the form on the Contact page you provide your name, email address, subject and message. The form is handled by Formspree (formspree.io), which receives the submission and forwards it to our mailbox so we can reply. A copy stays in our Formspree account and in our email.
Job applications. The apply button on a position page opens your own mail client and addresses an email to hr@joycastle.mobi. The email goes straight to our mailbox and does not pass through this website. We use what you send to assess your application and share it with the colleagues involved in hiring for that position.
Server access logs. The site is served by Amazon CloudFront. Access logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and user agent — are stored in our bucket in the Tokyo region and deleted automatically after 90 days. We use them to diagnose problems and understand traffic; they are not linked to the information above.
What we do not collect
- No cookies, and no browser storage used for tracking
- No Google Analytics, Baidu Tongji, or any other analytics tool
- Fonts, images and the map on the Contact page are all served from this site, so pages make no requests to third parties
- No profiling, and we never sell or rent your information
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are deleted once the matter is settled. Applications are kept for up to 12 months after the hiring process ends, so we can reach out if a suitable position opens; you can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Write to contact@joycastle.mobi, or hr@joycastle.mobi for anything about an application, and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
